Reflection
There are countless Biblical scriptures on people standing firm in faith believing God for all sorts of things – favor, land, children, freedom.
Today, the most profound and life-changing stance you can have for your life and your children’s lives is to fasten your faith in confidence that when God says He will give you rest for your soul, it is a sure thing. As good as done when you lay down your burdens to Him and fasten your faith to believe.
When God closes doors on unhealthy connections (untrustworthy friends, toxic relationships, oppressive work environments) that means He has something more in store. It’s time to pivot, shift, and get in – or back in – His presence. Blessed is she who believes that God fulfils His promises. And Blessed is she who Trusts God to provide everything she needs.
Don’t fight against God. Lay down your burdens and pray for strength to discern and let things go.
Prayer
– Dear God. It can be challenging to have unyielding faith in something I cannot see. Help me to fasten my faith on You, to live for today, and surrender each situation into your hands so I can focus on what matters the most and move forward with Your healing. Amen.
