“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and recovery of sight to the blind.
To set at liberty those who are oppressed.”
Reflection
The world has women across the globe convinced that we are the lesser sex. That smaller bone structure means lesser ability, lesser significance, and less pay. Except that God uses us to carry life into existence, we have bigger corpora callosa, greater spiritual attunement, and a greater capacity to bring peace and healing to the world.
This is why women need Jesus. We are just oozing with power and capacity. Digging deeper into the teachings and Spirit of Jesus Christ reveal His love, attunement, and advocacy for the dignity, rights, and fair treatment of women. Knowing Christ empowers us to know ourselves and our rightful worth. Regardless of the world’s psychopathy. Sometimes a sprinkle of Jesus is all we need to awaken our soul. Other times, we need a downpour. As Jesus came to heal the blind and set the captive free, His truth and freedom are yours when you do the work. Let’s start with prayer.
Prayer
– Dear God. Thank You for loving me SO deeply. The world is unwell. It has made me unwell. Help me to know who I am and all of my worth. Then to operate as the head and not the tail. Give me the yearning to immerse myself in Your Word.
